Alaina Zermeno is known for the determination and diligence she brings to each case. A member of the firm’s personal injury section in Austin, she focuses her practice on traumatic brain injury, automobile collisions, dog bites, product injury, premises liability, and much more.
This talented litigator thrives on helping people receive compensation from insurance companies that seek to minimize their claims. Many injury victims do not have the mechanism or resources to take on big insurance companies, but Alaina is able to advocate on behalf of her clients to put them in the best position to achieve a life-changing settlement or verdict. She is committed to keeping clients up to date at all times, keeping communication channels open, and staying transparent with them as things develop.
A native of Mesquite, Texas, Alaina graduated with a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Missouri. She went on to earn her juris doctorate from The University of Texas at Austin School of Law, where she served as an associate editor of the Texas Hispanic Journal of Law and Policy and earned the Richard and Ginni Mithoff Pro Bono Service Award.
Prior to joining Zinda Law Group, Alaina was an assistant criminal district attorney at the Bexar County Criminal District Attorney’s Office, where she balanced a heavy caseload prosecuting cases in the juvenile and criminal trial divisions. Working as a prosecutor allowed her to gain valuable trial experience and fueled her desire to help people who have been wronged.
Active in her professional community, Alaina is a member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, the Capital Area Trial Lawyers Association, and the American Association for Justice. In her leisure hours, she enjoys baking, reading, watching films, and spending time with her English bulldog, Daisy.
